Two Souls

If having two languages means one has two souls... I would like to know which one I still own and which one has been already sold. I hope I am able to find out through this journey, or reconcile both in a happy medium so the three of us can be happily ever after...

Per my editor's request, my collaboration with this blog will be in English. I am not sure how I feel about that, since English is not my mother tongue. I hope to amuse the readers with my writings and whatever my soul (or this one) decides to express through this Blog.

I thought Alejandro had a great idea to create this space online for expression and good readership. I hope more people decide to add to it and share in with ideas. We must gather together and make good use of this space. It is evident for our times that being online and linked through the Internet is a must. Things have shifted so rapidly that even on my premature 30's, I've witnessed several booms (or explosions) of modern technologies and changes. Besides technology becoming the ruler of our existence, a lot has changed in terms of information, communications, human relations and our own humanity. I hope this has helped us all agree on how appalling our own kind can be, and how we can create community to do something to change it for good.

It is hard to believe that 10 years ago I would still write letters and mail them to those dear to my heart, and now, my writing as mostly been reduced to online outlets. I rarely mail letters anymore, except for greeting cards and thank you notes, which are vital to me and to my relationships. They are warm and personal touches that cannot become extinct. Whoever denies the pleasure of receiving one, is not of the human kind, or perhaps is a highly evolved (Really?) individual. I am not sure.

I do like to write, and I will indulge in this pleasure from now on, whenever it be.

Hasta pronto,

See you soon
